Building works, self-delivered — with the systems already designed in
Groundworks to final fix. Key Vision’s construction division takes on the whole build, and because we install the networks and security ourselves, the two never fight each other on site.
New division
The trades and the technology, under one contract
Construction is a natural extension of what we already do. For years we have been cutting chases, running containment and working alongside main contractors on apartment blocks and commercial fit-outs. Clients kept asking whether we would take on the rest of the build. Now we do.
We buy through established merchant relationships — MKM, Joseph Parr, Go Interiors, Carter Steel and City Electrical Factors among them — so material pricing is competitive and lead times are realistic rather than optimistic.
Principal contractor
We can hold CDM duties and run the site, or work as a specialist package under yours.
Design coordination
Structure, M&E, data and security set out together before anything is fixed in place.
Documented handover
Certificates, test results, as-builts and O&M information, not a shrug and a phone number.
Waste & sustainability
Segregated site waste, efficient plant and material choices that reduce what goes to landfill.

After practical completion
Planned and reactive maintenance
Buildings need looking after. We offer scheduled maintenance visits against an agreed asset list, plus reactive callouts for the things that don’t schedule themselves — a failed door closer, a leak, a tripped circuit, a camera knocked out of alignment.
Combined contracts cover the building fabric, the electrical installation, the network and the security systems on one agreement, with one response time and one invoice.
Support & response timesPlanned visits
Scheduled inspections against your asset register, with a report after every visit.
Reactive callouts
Agreed response times for faults, prioritised by the impact on the building.
Statutory testing
Electrical testing and fire system checks kept in date and evidenced.
Lifecycle planning
Honest advice on what to replace this year and what will last another three.
Where we work
Sectors we build in
Residential developments
Apartment blocks, conversions and multi-unit schemes — the sector we know best, and where security, connectivity and building fabric all land on the same programme.
Commercial & industrial
Offices, workshops, garages and warehouses, including live sites where the works have to fit around a trading business.
Managed estates
Blocks and portfolios under management, where one contractor across all disciplines cuts the number of people a managing agent has to chase.
Public & education
Training facilities, teaching spaces and back-of-house works delivered around timetables and safeguarding requirements.
Got drawings, or just an idea?
Send what you have — a schedule of works, a set of drawings, or a photo of the space. We’ll tell you what it takes to build and what it costs to run afterwards.
