Since 2015, building the systems that buildings depend on
Key Vision started as a security and networking installer in Middlesbrough. Ten thousand devices and thirty locations later, we deliver the building works too.
Who we are
A contractor that stays after handover
We are based at 69 Newport Road in Middlesbrough and work throughout the UK — recent projects have run in Nottingham, Stafford and Swindon. The team covers surveillance, access control, fire detection, networking, electrical installation and, now, the construction works that hold all of it together.
Our sister organisation, Learning Key Training Academy, runs the technical lab facilities where a good part of our team trained. That connection is why we can staff a job with certified engineers rather than whoever was free.

What makes us different
Three habits we hold ourselves to
Always moving forward
We adopt emerging technology and build our own systems where nothing on the market does the job properly — continuous improvement rather than an annual review.
Always listening to customers
We stay in front of clients and partners rather than waiting for the renewal date, so we hear about what’s changing while there’s still time to act on it.
Always raising the bar
Our internal auditors are empowered to raise standards, on the understanding that an industry this fast-moving punishes standing still.
Our values
KEY VISION, one letter at a time
Nine values, one per letter of the company name. They were written before the construction division existed and they still hold.
Knowledge
Certified engineers who keep their qualifications current, in a workplace that expects people to keep learning.
Empowerment
We develop our customers, our partners and our own people — technical skill is the product.
Your future first
Decisions are made against what serves the client in three years, not what closes the sale this month.
Visionary
Delivering quality products and services, and doing the extra bit that nobody billed for.
Integrity
Fairness, transparency and equality in how we price, how we hire and how we behave on site.
Sustainability
Building partnerships that last, and taking environmental responsibility seriously on every site.
Innovation
Adopting new technology when it genuinely helps, and building our own systems where nothing suitable exists.
Opportunity
Seeking out new partnerships and developments that put our customers in a better position.
Nurturing
Looking after the network of people around us — clients, suppliers and colleagues alike.
Come and see how we work.
Ask for a site visit and meet the engineer who would run your job. That conversation tells you more than any brochure.
