Accessibility

How this site is built to be usable, and how to tell us when it isn’t.

Draft for review. This wording was prepared for the redesign and should be checked by Key Vision before publication — particularly the sections marked with square brackets.

Our commitment

We want this site to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification or reduced-motion settings.

This site has been designed against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. [A formal audit has not yet been carried out — commission one and update this statement with the findings and date.]

What we have done

Text and background colours have been checked for contrast in both light and dark themes. Every interactive element is reachable by keyboard and shows a visible focus ring. Headings follow a logical order, images and icons carry text alternatives or are hidden from assistive technology where decorative, and a skip link is provided at the top of every page.

Animation respects the operating system’s reduce-motion setting: if you have that switched on, movement and marquee effects stop.

Known issues

[List anything found in testing here, with a target date for fixing it. If nothing is outstanding, say so.]

Telling us about a problem

If you find something you cannot use, email hello@key-vision.co.uk or call 01642 687045 and tell us what happened and what you were trying to do. We will reply within five working days and tell you how we intend to fix it.
